Happy Birthday Joyce!

Joyce chose Tao's Restaurant as her birthday lunch venue~

The last time both of us went was back in year 2005! It's still there! Nothing much changed, except it's a little more run-down.. but the food is just as nice. However the fruit tea pots have "down-sized". Used to be much much bigger!

Lunch is $19.80++ per person for 6 courses

Dinner is S$29.80++ per person for 7 courses

I think the lunch is confirmed more worth it! Why pay S$10 for another course? I rather you pay S$19.80 extra to order ANOTHER set of food to share!! More worth it right?? LOL!

Our appointment was 1pm, Joyce arrived at 1.20pm and Yaya arrived at 1.55pm lah! TSK! I am the earliest leh! Woohoo!

I like it so much, I went to buy the same set with them! LOL! Serious! Now I have an identical set with Joyce.. A bit copy-cat, but I really like the box and it's a good deal cos it's all full-sized bottles! ^^

We went to Vivocity Partyworld for our after-meal entertainment..

Thanks to Yaya who has a friend working there, we only paid around S$21nett per pax for 4 hours of singing during peak hour! :) Woohoo!

After our KTV session we went to CoffeeBea & Tealeaf where I treat them to yummy drinks! We shared two cups cos we in a hurry.. SOMEBODY'S NEW BOYFRIEND is coming to pick her up so we must chop chop sit and drink and run.

Guess whose boyfriend came?

Hint: Confirmed not Pipimon.

He was sleeping at home, saying he wanna give us "girl-time".

4th Visit! Beige Braces!

Went for my 4th braces visit and I chose beige this time! :)

Contrary to popular belief, braces doesn't mean you'll lose your appetite.

There's so many horror stories on how people can't eat or drink after putting on braces. But I don't know why I am such a freak case cos I can bite on crab shells and chew on butter cookies (though my dentist got chide me for biting on hard stuff).. There were painful ulcers in the 1st week, but the pain came from the ulcers not the braces and after 6days, I'm up and running again.. after 4 visits, thicker wires and tighter pulling.. it still feels normal. I'm gonna miss my braces when I finally take it out.. My mouth will feel so empty. :(

So, it's really up to the pain threshold level of each individual. Who knows, maybe I'll not even scream during childbirth cos it won't really hurt? LOL!

Chloe & Pringles

For 2 weeks or so, Pipimon has been using his Pringles bottle to scare Chloe.

Don't ask me why, but she's super frightened of the Pringles bottle.. and it is enough to deter her from moving from places to places. Like instead of using a box to block the entrance to the kitchen, all Pipimon need to do is to put the bottle of pringles there and she will run away and not venture into the kitchen.

Reason why we don't let her into the kitchen sometimes is becos when it rains really heavily, the water will somehow seep in from the windows and the floor will be wet.. And Chloe loves to play with water and she'll mess up her hair and fur.. So we have to prevent that from happening.. And what if she licks the water?? Ohmygod.

She also likes to bite Pipimon's toes.. so when she chases after him, he will wave the Pringles bottle at her and she will run away and leave him alone for a few hours, eyeing his toes while sitting far far away..

But after 2 weeks, my smart little baby has learnt that the Pringles bottle is just a bottle and she will calmly walk pass it and hop into the kitchen and splash around in the toilet.. Brave little Chloe conquered her ridiculous fear and currently no matter how Pipimon wave it at her, she'll ignore him and nibble on his toes.

Dinner @ Tung Lok Signatures Vivocity

I know I'm supposed to be saving money.. But I have a $50 voucher for Tung Lok group, so this is a good excuse to have a nice dinner at Tung Lok :P

Lazing to post pictures of all the food.. But imo, the service is good but food is overpriced. Most of the people we see are yuppies or businessmen entertaining their clients. Not somewhere I will go back again. Even with the voucher, we still have to top up over S$60 and we only ordered a few dishes.

After the dinner we went upstairs to watch "Unstoppable" which is a kick-ass movie! Love it!
