This is so mad cute but crazy expensive!

I saw this at Best Denki and plugged my iPhone in to charge for a bit cos it's low batt.. hahaha! But after 5mins it only went up by 1% so I gave up charging it. It comes in white and pink colour. :) Super pretty but I don't have any use for it.. 

Hello Kitty Rubber Bands!

I led a Hokkaido tour on 2009 December and it was by far my most memorable and enjoyable tour as all the customers were ultra nice and get along very well with each other. My guide was fantastic as he kept feeding me good food and bringing me to special hidden corners for meals during our free time. ^^

Most of them are my FB friends and we continue to keep in touch even after 1 year.. which is quite amazing considering I am just their tourleader and they bothered to make friends with me and keep in contact. :D

One such person is Diana! She went with her family of 6 including her husband John's parents and her two super adorable and very good looking children, Nathan and Natalie!

Actually me and Pipimon booked the same tour departing on 14 January, but we cancelled it in October last year as he had some serious sinus issues with his nose that prevents him from taking long flights. Anyway........ the point of this entry is to say a big thank you to Diana for her gifts from USA!

Godiva chocolates and Hello Kitty rubberbands from Las Vegas! :) She said that the moment she saw Hello Kitty she thinks of me.. hahaha! Don't everyone I know think of me when they see Hello Kitty or pink stuff? :P
The rubber bands are so cute!! I displayed them side by side and my colleagues were all so super jealous.

New Camera! Samsung ST600

Pipimon bought me a new camera!

It's the Samsung ST600!

Wondering why the 1st picture is pink, yet the second picture is gold?

Well, I chose the pink one at first but when I went home and tried to take pictures, the quality sucks and I really hate it. The flash makes my skin looks super yellow, Chloe's fur looks yellow and rusty when I take her pictures and when I turned off the flash, it's super grainy! Like what the fuck!??!! I know how to use the settings cos it's similar to my current Samsung PL150, so it's not a matter of me not knowing how to use it, but the camera basically being a sucky one.

Hate it so much that I told him I wanna throw the camera at the wall!

I don't understand why a brand new camera takes such horrible pictures! Especially since my old Samsung PL150 works so well even after 10months of heavy usage!

So we went back to Best Denki and they offered me to change to another brand/model as it's still within 7days. I was eyeing the Olympus, but Pipimon really like this model. At that point in time, I chose Gold cos it looks shinier and I thought Pipimon can use it if I really don't like it since Pink is too gay for a straight man to use. But now, looking at the picture... I am still liking the pink, and I am not sure if my choice of Gold is the right one... I am SO fickle-minded. Tsk.

So far the camera is still not performing as I expected (even after the replacement).. the 1st picture was taken by my old PL150 and the 2nd picture was taken by my iPhone.. I will showcase pictures from this new camera soon.. but honestly, I still prefer my old PL150.

Maybe it's because this camera is touch-screen and I find the response time a bit slower cos I have to tap on the screen for scene selections instead of scrolling the dial. The camera is also a bit bigger and a bit more difficult to hold on when taking self-pics.. Hopefully I will learn to fall in love with it, cos firstly it's a gift from Pipimon and afterall.. it IS an upgrade from my previous model.

Which goes to show, sometimes being more expensive or "upgraded" doesn't mean it is necessary better.

6th Braces visit!

Let's look at the first time I put on my braces:

My teeth was not that crooked, but I wanted perfect teeth! Though everyone said "so painful!" I went for it.. and the 1st week was hell! My gums bled, I had ulcers, I couldn't talk properly... but afterwards I got used to it and now I don't feel any pain at all... Which may be the reason why I am gaining weight instead of losing them as many people experienced after putting on braces.

Here's how my teeth looks like now! 6 months after my 1st appointment!

I am happy with the results and it really looks straighter.. I have progressed to thicker wires and my dentist kept tightening the wire but I am not feeling much pain.. It's a bit sore on the 1st or 2nd day when she tightens it, but the pain just disappears soon... and I will be eating like nobody's business again.

Pretty Teeth! :)

I am not sure how long more I have to put them... but I am so excited to have super straight teeth! I am gonna whiten them after my braces treatment and when I smile, it's gonna be bling bling! ^^

Anyway I need to lose weight.. whoever heard of people gaining weight when they put on braces??? I think I gained like 8kg in the past 6 months and it's not funny lah :( So fat liao.... Boohooo! I am not even gonna consider buying new clothes since I will be reminded of how fat I am right now... and most of my clothes are super tight!!! AHHHH!!!!!

Kabe No Ana @ Nex Mall

Met Wany today! FINALLY!

I haven't met her since my braces was green colour.. and that is more than 2 months!! I changed to white before my current green + red lah! :( She's busy with her school and I am busy with flying around during November and December.

We went to Nex Mall to have dinner at Kabe No Ana together with Jason.. It's a Japanese restaurant that claims to be "the original Japanese Spaghetti house established since 1953".

Well, oldest doesn't means it's the best.. And I am not sure if the standard is the same in Japan compared to Singapore cos I did not see it in Japan when I was there..

Anyway, we ordered a pasta each and add-on S$5 for a soup + toast.

Mushroom soup is nice!

Their Mentaiko toast is to die for! Super nice! But they served it only after we were finishing our soup, which defeats the purpose cos it tastes heavenly with our soup (which only have a bit left in our bowls).

Total around S$90 for 3 persons.. Quite expensive, considering we did not order any drinks (we went to buy Bubbletea! ^^) I won't go back for the pasta cos it's nothing to shout about.. But I will definitely go back for the soup & toast ONLY. :)

I dunno what this is, but it's yum yums!

Both of our grandmothers passed away last year so we cannot go visiting this year.. not that I have any family to go visiting to.. I will be flying to China on 3rd Feb for a 6days China tour leading assignment.

Thank you Wany for the gifts! I love everything! Especially the Hello Kitty bag! :)
