Arnold's & The Canteen

Had lunch at City Plaza's Arnolds..

Didn't take picture of the chicken cos it always look the same and I have tons of Arnold Fried Chicken picture. But I love Bandung, so snapped a pic of it. Hahahahahhaha!

Decided to go to Orchard cos it's been ages since we've been there and I need to stock up on my Clinque products! :) Went to DFS and also bought Joyce's birthday present (her bday is next month).

For dinner, we decided on The Canteen in Shaw Centre cos we parked at the carpark there..

Here's the mish mash mixed menu.. It's crazy confused.

There's Italian, Western, Local, Chinese, Malay and more.. T_T

Most passable dish, the Mushroom Soup

But portion is damn small. Like damn fucking small. 8 spoonfuls.

Chilli crab toast

Not too bad, but too little sauce, too much egg.

Dodgy Mee Tai Mak

Apparently it's their signature dish. Bah.

Crazy overpriced ChengTing which tastes like it's left overnight.

The Canteen is one of the most over-rated, over-priced food joint ever. The food is expensive without being good. The quality is bad, service is slow and this will be the first and last time we'll be eating there. These few dishes are over $40! Can you imagine? It's just a dingy restaurant/cafe in a dingy corridor in Shaw Centre. Tsk.
