Moomin House Cafe (Tokyo Skytree Town Solamachi)

(⁎⚈᷀᷁▿⚈᷀᷁⁎)

The first time I visited Moomin Cafe in Tokyo was with my sister and Le hubby. She said her friends recommend her to go.. I didn't really know much about Moomin because it's from Sweden and not so popular in Singapore but I vaguely heard of it before. Apparently it's very popular in Japan and there's a quite a few Moomin cafes / bubble tea shops there! Since then, my past few trips to Tokyo will always include a trip to Moomin Cafe!

Actually, the food is not fantastic, but I just love the decor and dining with the Moonmin plushies. The staff will rotate the plushies around so you will have a chance to dine with different characters.

They leave the Moomin plushies outside their shop without any supervision or strings tied to them. So trusting. I think it would have been stolen really quickly if it is not in Japan... Hahahahaha! And they are not even at the entrance.. it's at the side of the cafe. If someone want to carry and run away, they will have a very high chance of running away without getting caught. But this is Japan! Hahahahaha!

The one we visited is at Tokyo Skytree! It is very near the train exit.

If you have time, visit Moomin cafe for a cup of coffee (don't order the mains.. not worth the money) and take pictures with the plushies. The best time to visit is early in the morning or near closing time so there are lesser people around and you can take as many pictures as you want with all the plushies without waiting too long for your turn.
