My Batam Trip post is 3 months overdue!
Four of us went to Batam by Penguin Ferry on 16th January for 3 nights! :) I shared a room with Santi guniang and Pipimon bunked in with Welly. We had lots of fun and I gained weight from eating all the yummy food!
The food and hotel stay were cheap but the cab fare were ridiculous! Average 10 min ride is S$10! If you book a taxi for the whole day, it's around Rupiah300,000 or S$40 which is a much better option. But you gotta bargain like hell! Cos they quote damn high one!
I am going to break up the trip into 5 different categories:
Sadly, it also marks the time four of us will be hanging out together for a long long time cos Welly is unable to secure a job in Singapore due to some shitty new regulations and he has to go to Surabaya and work.. So far away! No more late night suppers and Tao Huay sessions liao! :(
